WhisperX

Whisper with word-level timestamps, alignment and diarization.

WhisperX is a wrapper around Whisper that adds accurate word-level timestamps via forced phoneme alignment and integrates speaker diarization. It also uses voice-activity detection and batched inference to speed up long-audio transcription compared to vanilla Whisper.
